The fascination with artificial intelligence has hit Dallas, where everything is bigger, as they say.
And it’s doing so with Cowboys owner Jerry Jones.
The team unveiled a hologram of Jones on Thursday afternoon as part of the “Meet Jerry Jones — An Interactive Experience,”
This AI iteration has the ability to have full-blown conversations as if you’re speaking to the actual human being who runs the football franchise.
How in-depth could the conversations with this AI hologram go?
Well, the AI version of Jones could tell you about the real Jones’ life, what it’s like to own the Cowboys, what life was like going to college at the University of Arkansas and his life, among other things.
If you’ve ever wanted to have a conversation with Jones, now is your chance to do it, apparently.
In a video posted online by AT&T Stadium’s official account on X, formerly known as Twitter, one person completely posited to the AI Jones: “Why did you choose AT&T to be your naming rights partner?”
Jones replied: “The reason AT&T Stadium is AT&T Stadium is because, to me, AT&T was like signing America. And I wanted our Dallas Cowboys, America’s Team, to be associated with Alexander Graham Bell and AT&T.”
Others on social media had other ideas as to what they’d ask the Jones hologram if they had met face-to-face.
Or, face to… whatever it may be.
“For the love of God please someone ask him why Jimmy is not in the Ring of Honor,” one user asked, in reference to former Super Bowl-winning head coach Jimmy Johnson.
“Can this one actually build a roster?” another joked.
Fans can see the AI version of Jones themselves if they sign up for the Owner’s Experience Tour or a private group tour, according to the Cowboys’ website.
